Mike Saunders | Founder & Technical Director
Mike is the inventor of VIDEAR’s patented AR-enabled Digital Twin platform (GB2629638B). With expertise spanning drone operations, Unity3D development, and M2M systems architecture, he has spent the past five years building VIDEAR from concept to operational prototype.
Working closely with maritime safety organisations, environmental agencies, and logistics partners, Mike has focused on ensuring the platform solves real operational challenges rather than remaining a purely theoretical technology.
As Technical Director of VIDEAR, he leads the platform architecture and technical development behind systems such as CPAS - the Common Position Awareness System - combining Digital Twin environments, augmented reality interfaces, and sensor platforms to improve situational awareness in complex operational environments.
